Description
Our 9mm Blast Shield is designed to direct muzzle pressure straight downrange, mitigating the overpressure typically associated with flash hiders and muzzle brakes. The internal geometry of our blast shield features a cone shape which helps shift the recoil impulse on most operating systems to feel more like the “push” of suppressed shooting vs the “snap” of a flash hider or open muzzle. Our blast shields are Non-NFA and do not reduce sound or function as a suppressor. However, they are perfect for simulating suppressors both in weight and form. Ideal for balancing the muzzle in rear heavy setups (looking at you “K” builds) and for use in “tucked” builds where a barrel/muzzle might be shrouded inside of a handguard, or just getting that muzzle blast out past the light on your favorite PCC.
Available in versatile mounting options like 3Lug, Plan B, and 1/2-28. Please just use the drop down menus to create the configuration perfect for your setup. Note that lengths listed are true and exact overall lengths.
Due to the wide range of possibilities on muzzle devices and similar interfacing components we always recommend that you verify fitment and alignment of all parts after final assembly. I recommend the 4 inch version if you are planning to use the Haga Skye extension on the Springfield Kuna. The 2 inch version goes barely past the end of the extension. Found it makes removing the 2 inch version a bit awkward but both are great to protect the polymer extension and either shield will have enough room inside for good airflow. Highly recommended!
